Delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the delivery being sent, the delivery charge will be automatically calculated for you at the checkout stage.
The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the waters within 12 nautical miles of their coastlines.

Islands of UK
Islands including the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man etc., will remain as UK shipping band up to 2 Kg and within current Post Office parameters. Since 1st April 2015, all courier services now consider the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Hebridean Islands as Europe. Please take this into consideration before placing your order.

Offshore outside the UK
Shipping outside the UK mainland will vary, the minimum shipping cost is £10.
DELIVERY OF RODS
Due to the long length and delicacy of rods and landing net handles we use very strong and rigid cardboard tubes to ensure that your purchase arrives with you undamaged, these cost a lot more than a box and our courier charges us extra for sending a long parcel. In light of this, we charge a total of £10 for delivery of rods. If you are in doubt please contact us. Please note that some rods can take 2-3 days to be delivered due to sorting systems.
DESPATCH & DELIVERY
We can’t guarantee any delivery times, but will always try and get your order to you as fast as possible. We deliver on Monday to Fridays only, excluding bank holidays.
UK Royal Mail deliveries will be sent First Class Post RECORDED, and should be delivered within 1-4 working days from the day of dispatch.
We do not deliver over the weekends, so all orders placed on Friday after 8.30am will usually be processed the following working day (Monday) for Tuesday delivery, and all orders placed before noon on Thursday will usually be processed on Friday.
Standard courier deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 5.30pm. All deliveries must be signed for at the shipping address only. If you are out when the courier arrives, a card will be left with a contact number for you to call to arrange re-delivery or collection from the courier depot.
IMPORTANT – REFUSAL OF DELIVERIES, UNWANTED ORDERS AND MISSED DELIVERIES
Once an order has been placed, you have made a contract with Ardent Angling to accept these goods. Please do not refuse any deliveries once an order has been dispatched by us. If a delivery is refused, missed or unwanted you will be refunded minus the original delivery fee (if the order had free delivery you will be charged £10.00) and the return delivery fee of £15 for UK orders. If you do not require an order or there is an issue or a problem please contact us.
Once delivery has been attempted it is up to the customer to arrange redelivery or collection, Ardent Angling is in no way responsible for any costs incurred after the first delivery attempt has been made. If there are extra charges then we will make you aware of this.
Your statutory customer rights are not affected.

Any item that was faulty at the point of sale may be returned for free repair, replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase and the faulty item is returned complete with all components. All faults and defects must be reported within 48 hours from the time of delivery. Please note that you will not be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in respect of fair wear and tear. Please return the original and complete packaging.
FAULTS DEVELOPED WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD
Most items come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, however Ardent reels come with a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. If a product develops a fault within the warranty period, assistance will be provided by way of spares or a repair, depending on the type of product purchased. Wear and tear is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
RETURN OF AN ITEM IN AN UNUSED STATE
If you would like to return a new and unused item you can, providing the item is returned within 28 days from the original date of purchase and it is returned by the customer at their cost with all the original packaging. We will refund you for the item(s) on its return. Please note we will only refund you for the item(s) returned, not the postage costs. If you are returning an item that had free postage we will refund you for the item minus a delivery fee of £10. Any items that were stocked specifically for your order (items shown with a 3-6 or 6-10 day delivery) will be refunded minus our standard restocking and administration fee of 5% or £20, whichever is the greater.
To return an item by post let us know which item(s) you wish to return, and the details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details. Please do not return any items until we have replied.
Please also attach a note explaining details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details inside the parcel you wish to return. Please package your item(s) securely, returning in the original outer packaging where possible. All items returned by post are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing you have provided us with the necessary information inside the return parcel.
COST OF RETURN
All returns must be returned by the customer at the customer’s expense, but if you are returning an item that is faulty, damaged or has been sent in error and you expect us to cover the cost of return, it must be sent with Royal Mail First Class Recorded service, if any other service is used we will only reimburse you the cost of the Royal Mail First Class Recorded service. If your item is too large to be sent with this service please discuss this with us before returning. You must contact us and confirm that we will cover the cost of return before returning an item.
You will only be reimbursed once a manufacturers defect/error has been confirmed and a copy of the original Post Office or equivalent receipt is sent to us.
